Today, the development of the agricultural sector of not only a separate region, but also the entire state de-pends on the development of rural areas. Meantime, there is a significant differentiation of municipal districts of theNovosibirsk region in terms of socio-economic development, which is reflected in the final results ofproduction activi-ties of the agricultural sector. A significant outflow of population from rural areas has a very negative impact on thecurrent state of the industry as a whole. Issues related to the quality of life of the rural population occupy a specialplace among the unsolved problems of agriculture. The article analyzes the improvement of the housing stock of ruralareas of the Novosibirsk region and its impact on the formation of human resources in the industry.
The article deals with the problem of stimulating the labor of workers of agricultural enterprises involved inthe main production. The problem of reducing the role of the stimulating function of wages is revealed, which iscaused by the lag in the rates of its growth compared with the growth offinancial performance of economic entities.The solution of this problem is recommended to be implemented both at the level of the subject of the Russian Federa-tion and at the level of individual agricultural enterprises. The basis of the study was agricultural enterprises in theSaratov region. As a result of the research at the regional level, the organizational and economic mechanism for stim-ulating labor in agricultural enterprises was recommended; with respect to the level of each economic entity, methodsof stimulating labor-normative, legal and organizational-economic, were developed.
The article analyzes the development offarms on the basis of the data of the all-Russian agricultural census of 2016 in comparison with the data of the all-Russian agricultural census of2006. Changes in the number of farms, in the structure of agricultural and non-agricultural activities, in the amount of agricultural land, planted field crops and number offarm animals are shown. The data on the number of employed workers, the availability of agricultural machinery and equipment, the provision of infrastructure is provided.
The results of scientific research show that the majority of financial and economic development problems of agricultural organizations lie both on micro- and macro-economic level, that is, they are the result of an inefficient system of state regulation and management of agriculture. Successful implementation and improvement of the system of management of economic behavior of agricultural organizations in not just an urgent modern task, but an integral strategy that has the most important national economic vitality and is capable of ensuring Russia’s food security. The analysis of the phenomenon of economic behavior of agricultural organizations becomes particularly important in the context of new challenges of the external environment (both of macroeconomic and intra-system nature), since the choice of the model of economic behavior can affect the competitiveness and production performance of the subject of economic activity and country’s entire agroindustrial complex in varying degrees. In this article, the concept of management of agricultural organizations ’ economic behavior from the point of the search for more effective forms of ma n-agement of economic entities is proposed.
The article focuses on the reproduction processes in the agricultural organizations of the Orel region based on the analysis of the composition and structure of the basic production assets of the fleet of machinery, as well as on the dynamics of their supply. The estimation of economic efficiency of the use of resources used in the reproduction processof agriculture. In addition, attention is paid to the analysis of the sources offormation ofproduction activities in agriculture of Orel region with the simultaneous assessment of the fixed assets value, cash flows and the level of state support. The assessment of the main development directions of agricultural production in the Orel region and the funding level of regional activities in 2017 with operational determination of the implementation of these activities and the effect obtained.
The article describes the criteria for assessing the economic efficiency of agricultural organizations, identifies problems and trends of development of agricultural organizations of the Tula region, outlines main directions of improving their efficiency and sustainable development, which form the prerequisites for the expanded reproduction.
The article examines the assessment of the profitability of net operating assets for Russian food chainretail companies using the DuPont model. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to assess the influence of the crisis in 2014 on the indicators offinancial and operating activities of retailers. The survey was conducted on a sample of eight major companies in the Russian food retail sector in the period from 2010 to 2016. The analysis showed, that, despite some deterioration in the value of the indicator of net operating assets during the acute phase of the crisis and immediately after it, by 2017 most companies managed to restore the pre-crisis values of the indicator, which confirms the industry’s resistance to external influences and indicates the effectiveness of selected anti-crisis strategies. Analysis of the components of the indicator ofprofitability of net current assets showed that the ratio between them corresponds to those accepted in the world practice for the retail industry.

The article analyzes the pressing problem of adaptation of agricultural placement in the regions of Russia. It proposes a methodology for the development of adaptive scenarios of agricultural production placement with regard to natural-territorial factor.
The article assesses the effectiveness of the target indicators for the characteristics of sustainable development of agriculture from the perspective of inter-sectoral relations. Agriculture is developing at an unstable pace, despite the the positive changes in industry’s economy. The consolidation of the leading positions is hampered by the low level of investment attracted to the industry’s development. No less important factors affecting the growth rate of agricultural production are the conditions for the development of industries included in the AIC sphere - supplying material and technical resources and processing agricultural raw materials.
