Abstract: This article is devoted to the development and realization of the export potential of the agro-industrial complex of Russia. The authors study in detail the agro-food market, in particular the structure of exports by nomenclature and depth of processing. The export potential of the fishery products market is also assessed, for example, it is noted that frozen fish (cod, Pacific salmon and pollock) occupies more than 85% of the export commodity structure. The article examines the industry-specific export news of meat and meat products, as well as the prospects for its expansion, especially of pork products. In general, the authors, based on the analysis of trade turnover with the main counterparty countries, assess Russia's strategic positions in the global agri-food market, as well as substantiate the directions of realization of export potential in the context of market segments.
