Abstract: The article presents an analysis of the current state and prospects for changes in the economic accessibility of meat and meat products, as the most important component of food security. To ensure the economic availability of meat and meat products, it is necessary to update the work on the creation of a mechanism for internal food assistance for priority products with subsequent monitoring of indicators.
