Abstract: In recent years, the Russian food producers are moving to a new model of economic development from import substitution to export-orientation. The aim of the study is a comprehensive study of current trends in the export of Russian food to develop proposals to improve the margins of Russian producers offood products. The article analyzes the export performance of Russian food over the years. The study used the assessment of the theoretical and practical aspects for the development of the agroexport. Foreign and domestic experience of development of the AgroExport shows that for the profitable production offood products it is advisable to use financial and non-financial support to exporters of these products. As in many countries in the world to solve this problem for the development of export of agricultural products, along with the General institutions of export support, set up and operate specialized public institutions. For further development of the export potential of the food industry and General improvement of the socioeconomic situation in the country, the authors have defined the conditions of increasing the incomes offood producers, including by increasing the added value of the relevant goods. Proposed regulatory order to improve the activities of exporters of agricultural products with the aim of modernising legislation with orientation to foreign markets.
