Abstract: This article examines the impact of various land policies, as well as various strategies and approaches to their implementation, on the reduction of poverty and social exclusion in rural areas, with the ultimate goal of identifying possible sets of viable policy alternatives in contemporary developing countries and countries with economies in transition. Ten countries are considered: Armenia, Bolivia, Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, Namibia, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe. The financial proposals for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for the period after 2020 have been studied.
