Abstract: Argentina is a country with an industrial-agrarian economy, which is largely developing thanks to export-oriented agricultural production. The country is among the top ten countries of the world exporters of agricultural products. Argentina's agri–food exports have grown significantly over the past three decades, while Argentina's agricultural policy has historically alternated between periods of trade liberalization on the one hand and export restrictions on the other. The article examines the key aspects of the development of agriculture in Argentina, provides macroeconomic indicators, and examines the state and dynamics of foreign trade in agricultural products of the country. The policy of regulating the export of agricultural products is considered. Some features of beef production and export in Argentina have been analyzed and studied, trends in the country's export policy have been identified on the example of beef cattle breeding.
