Abstract: The cooperative management model has a significant potential for generating benefits for the participants of the association, but the practice of developing cooperatives in our country shows that these opportunities are not realized due to a complex of reasons. As part of the implementation of measures to support agricultural consumer cooperatives, State authorities and local self-government bodies seek to create conditions that encourage the unification of farms and other small agricultural producers into cooperatives. And one of such support tools is the allocation of grants for the development of the material and technical base of cooperatives. The allocation of grants to cooperatives has been implemented since 2015, which allows for a more complete assessment of the effectiveness of the use of this tool at the current stage.
