Abstract: The article is devoted to the problems of involvement in the turnover of agricultural land, which is one of the main factors in increasing the production of organic farming in Russia. It provides data on the availability of agricultural land areas, as well as areas that have been retired and put into circulation in recent years. The assessment of the implementation of a set of measures aimed at the development of retired agricultural lands, the availability of agricultural machinery necessary to solve this problem, and also considered the State program adopted last year for the effective involvement in the turnover of agricultural lands and the development of the reclamation complex of Russia.
