Abstract: The article discusses the conceptual issues of the formation and development of the economic mechanism in the conditions of sanctions pressure. The main directions of the pressure of sanctions on the components of the economic mechanism are investigated and directions for overcoming them are proposed. The author's understanding of the economic mechanism under the conditions of sanctions in the agro-industrial complex is presented. Among the measures to overcome sanctions, special attention is paid to strategic planning, price regulation for agricultural products, raw materials and food, as well as instruments for the inflow of long-term capital into the agro-industrial complex from the stock market.
