Abstract: The article discusses the main forms of small business in the agricultural sector of Russia, their advantages and disadvantages, their role in agricultural production. The analysis of the direction of state support for small businesses, including the coronavirus pandemic, was carried out. The problems hindering the effective development of small forms of management in the agro-industrial complex of Russia are indicated.
