Abstract: Giving an objectively estimation of the situation in the agro-industrial complex of the country, one cannot but note the important role of a systematic assessment of external and internal environment factors associated with the development trends of individual product sub complexes. Sub complexes, having existing trends and conjuncture at the state level as a whole, are nevertheless more clearly delineated by the borders of regions and individual municipal units, and therefore, the assessment of factors prevailing at the regional level is of particular relevance. The goal of research is to assess the influence of external and internal environment factors of the soy subcomplex of the Amur region, to identify strengths and weaknesses, as well as potential opportunities and threats. The assessment of the factors that have the most significant impact on the functioning of the soy subcomplex of the Amur region, and the analysis of potential opportunities and threats depending on the influence of positive factors of the internal environment of the subcomplex are carried out.
