Abstract: The work focuses on the problems of strategic management of the location and specialization of agricultural production at the regional level. The main factors determining the location of agricultural production and industry specialization in agriculture are identified. A methodology is proposed for assessing the prospects of forming a strategy for regional development of agricultural sectors on the basis of groups of indicators for assessing the development of the regional agricultural sector for the purpose of constructing an effective spatial distribution system for agricultural production. The main stages of the strategic management of the location of industries and industry specialization in agriculture are identified, with the subsequent construction of a model for determining the regional strategy for managing spatial development in the field of agriculture.
