Abstract: The article reveals the methodological basis for the implementation of the principles of lean production in agriculture. Adaptation to the conditions of structural and technological transformations on the basis of management of value streams by means of mapping of value streams takes place in a continuous process of improvement and elimination of losses and risks. Allocation of the main object of management accounting-values changes the approaches of management to the organization of production and forms a high organizational structure. Integration of internal information sources with digital systems allows accurate justification of strategic management decisions. Value stream management involves the systematic use of lean production tools and external information from distributed Ledger systems, in which reliable information ensures transparency of agribusiness and guarantees the success and long-term economic relationships in the production chain
