Abstract: This article considers modern tools to stimulate modernization of the production base of food industry mechanical engineering enterprises. The article notes that it is necessary to create conditions for better food security and import substitution in the food and means of production markets, where the most promising is the transformation of Russian agricultural engineering. In this regard, the article studied the modern possibilities of digital solutions for enterprises of food industry engineering. In particular, the possibilities of application of technologies of the Internet of Things, systems of complete automation of sales of products have been studied. The work analysed existing forms of support in agriculture, such as the subsidy mechanism; Establishment of a list of regions for the export of agricultural machinery, mechanisms and limits for the financing of exports; Available lending to industries. Research on the use of existing tools allowed the authors to identify government support tools based on digital transformation as part of the transition to Industry 4.0 technologies.
