Abstract: In the article the main directions and mechanisms of the Strategy of adaptation of agriculture and agriculture of Russia to climate change are proposed and justified. The expansion of international and interregional trade, as well as the development of warehouse infrastructure for the storage of agricultural raw materials and food, plays an important role in the Strategy. Important areas of the Strategy are the development of adaptive soil, plant and livestock technologies, as well as technologies that reduce the negative and increase the positive effects of climate change. A special role is given to the information support of the Strategy and the system of models for assessing the impact of climate change on agriculture.
