Abstract: The proclaimed policy on the innovative development of national economy, including also the agrarian sector, by creation of high-performance jobs (VPRM) demanded development of methodical instruments of their identification. In work on the basis of the analysis of application of different methods of comparison and comparison of the studied values it is proved that the criterion of selection of VPRM used by official statistics – threshold value of profitability of work – leads to considerable distortions in determination of number of such places, in particular in agriculture. Occurs so because this criterion does not reflect the many-sided maintenance of concept VPRM. Its theoretical judgment and disclosure with synthesis of references and also the subsequent quantitative assessment of interrelations between different properties of a workplace allowed to prove the system of basic criteria of its identification for agrarian economy. The ability of the offered criteria to differentiate economic entities on special groups is shown by a clustering of their agricultural organizations. The received clusters show different extent of adaptation of regions in the field of creation of VPRM and characterize certain parties of structural and technological shifts.
