Abstract: This article investigates the problems of spatial development management at the regional level, discusses the main ways related to the placement and specialization of agricultural production, the development of social division of labor, the formation of the mechanism of socio-economic development of rural areas and support of municipalities. The principles of functioning of management of spatial development are formulated and the main priorities of the state support of subsectors of agricultural production in subjects of the Russian Federation are defined. The algorithm of spatial strategy using the investment mechanism of interaction in the field of placement, specialization and concentration is developed.
