Abstract: The article discusses the scientific basis for the formation of price relations in the agro-industrial complex.The economic theories explaining the models of pricing and cost are investigated: the labor theory of value, the theoryof factors of production, the theory of marginal utility, the theory of balance of supply and demand. Functions ofprice, such as accounting, stimulating, redistributive, supply and demand management are developed. The character-istic of internal and external pricing factors is given. The directions for improving the price relations in the agro-industrial complex have been substantiated.
