Abstract: The study revealed the tendency of development of dairy cattle breeding in Russia and the region. The assessment of the competitiveness of the entities of dairy agribusiness has been carried out by comparing the relevantindicators of individual agricultural organizations and the average statistical competitor of the region, their marketposition and competitive advantages have been determined. The strategy of increasing the competitiveness of dairyagribusiness entities is substantiated.
