Abstract: The article examines the role of technical modernization in agriculture as a key factor in the implementation of regional agrarian policy. Based on the analysis of statistical data from 2018 to 2023, the paper identifies trends in the availability of modern agricultural machinery, outlines the problems of fleet renewal, and presents regional case studies (Republic of Tatarstan and Belgorod Region). Particular attention is paid to federal and regional support measures, including preferential leasing, subsidies, and concessional lending. The study concludes that accelerating the pace of technical modernization is essential for improving production efficiency and ensuring the sustainable development of rural areas.
