Abstract: The article describes the main problems facing the participants of the dairy market in connection with theintroduction of mandatory electronic veterinary certification, the possible consequences of the introduction of FGIS"Mercury" for different segments ofproduction and trade, the degree of readiness of the main market players to startworking in this system, as well as the risks for different segments of the market and dairy production in General. Par-ticular attention is paid to the problems in the sector of private farms, according to official statistics producing abouthalf of the raw milk in the country.
