Abstract: The development of Russia's agrarian economy is currently fraught with serious difficulties due to sanctions pressure from unfriendly countries and such an unstable political situation in the world. In these conditions, the key task of the state, as the main regulator of improving the socio-economic situation of society, is to ensure the national, economic and food security of the country, which are directly dependent on the technical and technological level of development of the agrarian economy and regulation of pricing policy, which in turn is associated with the logistical support of agro-industrial production and its modernization. At the same time, there are more opportunities for the domestic engineering industry to occupy the vacated market niches due to the departure of foreign manufacturers of agricultural machinery. The article presents issues of state regulation of investment policy based on material and technical support for the Russian agro-industrial complex, as well as the need to influence innovation processes in the agricultural sector related to a sufficiently high variability in prices for material and technical resources and investment goods, which in turn may affect the pricing policy of food products.
