Abstract: The article is devoted to the possibilities of using the existing production facilities for grain storage and processing in the Ryazan agroindustrial complex and justifying the construction of new infrastructure facilities in the region using the example of agricultural enterprises included in the grain cluster of the region. Three variants of innovative and investment projects are proposed: option I – for the construction of an elevator complex; II – for the creation of a flour mill; III – for combining the capacities of an elevator and a flour mill in the Ryazan region. For the purpose of strategic development of the grain production subcomplex of the agroindustrial complex of the Ryazan region, a project has been proposed that provides for the storage and drying of grain, its processing, flour production and bakery production. Economic calculations have confirmed that the third, integration project, is optimal. The analysis of the production and economic activities of Ryazan agrarians made it possible to identify the Alexander Nevsky district as one of the most promising within the framework of an investment project to combine the capacities of an elevator and a flour mill, which guarantees the food security of the region and allows grain products to be supplied to other regions of the country, as well as for export.
