Abstract: The set of sustainable development requirements defined by modern program documents gives rise to a complex systemic problem, the solution of which directly depends on the creation of adequate tools for analyzing strategic directions of sustainable development of agri-food systems of various levels. The authors of this article aimed to conduct model experiments using the information and analytical system of low-carbon transformation Decarbon-CX to assess structural shifts in agricultural sectors and substantiate the strategy for sustainable development of regional agri-food systems in the context of adaptation to climate change. Decarbon-CX, unlike other modeling systems considered in this article, is a completely domestic development based on extensive regional statistics. As a result of model calculations, the system demonstrated its capabilities for assessing the dynamics of low-carbon transformation processes, both in simulation and optimization variants. Decarbon-CX can be used in the process of preparing a sustainable development strategy in order to successfully implement the tasks of social, economic development and preservation of the ecology of regions.
