Abstract: Today, the development of the agricultural sector of not only a separate region, but also the entire state de-pends on the development of rural areas. Meantime, there is a significant differentiation of municipal districts of theNovosibirsk region in terms of socio-economic development, which is reflected in the final results ofproduction activi-ties of the agricultural sector. A significant outflow of population from rural areas has a very negative impact on thecurrent state of the industry as a whole. Issues related to the quality of life of the rural population occupy a specialplace among the unsolved problems of agriculture. The article analyzes the improvement of the housing stock of ruralareas of the Novosibirsk region and its impact on the formation of human resources in the industry.
