Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of technological modernization of the agricultural sector of the country's economy based on the institute of innovative and investment development of the agro-industrial complex of the company JSC "Agroleasing" (hereinafter also the company). Western political and economic sanctions of unfriendly states have become the reason for close attention to this problem. The work considers the goals and objectives of the company in modern geopolitical conditions, studies its potential, main problems and ways to solve them. It is noted that over the 20-year period of the company's activity, the total investment volume exceeded 600 billion rubles, which made it possible to deliver 145 thousand units of equipment to the agricultural sector. JSC "Rosagroleasing" works with all plants, presents more than 15 thousand samples of machinery and equipment and serves 18 thousand clients, of which 85% are small and medium-sized businesses. The company's potential is evidenced by the fact that every 3rd tractor and every 3rd combine in the country's agricultural sector was purchased under Rosagroleasing programs. It has been established that currently the bulk of the equipment purchased by the company is mainly of Russian and Belarusian manufacture, which indicates priorities towards import substitution. The main problems in the interaction of agricultural producers with the company have been identified and ways to eliminate them have been outlined. The company has programs when participants in the agricultural business can build a turnkey farm, processing plant, flour mill or seed plant. In this case, the leasing period can reach 15 years. It is noted that among other advantages of cooperation with the company, flexible payment schedules and mandatory insurance of the purchased equipment should be highlighted, while the technical equipment itself is collateral. The company actively continues to open branches, which will allow agricultural producers to make the optimal choice of technical equipment taking into account the natural and climatic conditions of the region and increase the amount of equipment purchased. Rosagroleasing pays great attention to unmanned aerial vehicles, which allow to significantly reduce costs in mastering modern technologies of mapping and objective monitoring of fields. Mechanisms and tools for improving state support for preferential leasing, which are focused on the interests of the lessee, are proposed.
