Abstract: The article analyzes the territorial profitability of agricultural production. The differentiation ofprofitabilitybetween subjects of the Russian Federation, caused by natural and economic factors, is shown. The directions andmechanisms ofplanning of distribution of the state subsidies and their impact on the development of agriculture andreducing the differences in the level ofprofitability of agricultural organizations are examined.
