Abstract: The article assesses the problems of seed production development in the country in modern conditions. In the work, the diagnostics of the efficiency of seed production using the monographic research method is carried out. In this regard, the experience of providing seeds for commercial production of countries using intensive methods is presented. The article comprehensively examines the problem of providing potato farms with high-quality seeds, using the example of specific potato-growing business entities, in order to identify the possibility of attracting investment in the industry by increasing financial and economic indicators characterizing investment attractiveness.
