Abstract: The article is devoted to the actual problem of mainstreaming the climate change factor in the plans of socioeconomic development of the regions in a long-term vision. The adaptation of regional agro-food systems to long-term climate change is a controlled process of changing the characteristics of farming systems which is aimed to make the most of changing climatic and, above all, hydrothermal conditions.
