Abstract: The article presents the results of a study of the possibility of the participation of the Arctic, which has huge reserves of bioresources, in solving the global problem of acute food shortages with growing inequality and poverty in the world, while maintaining an optimal balance between the extraction of mineral raw materials and its processing, while preserving the natural environment for the reproduction of aquatic bioresources. It is emphasized that the consolidation of the efforts of the state, science and business in the study of the Arctic, strengthening the coordination of the work of all participants in this process will contribute to the achievement of technological sovereignty, information and financial independence of Russia.
