Abstract: The article is devoted to the state support of agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturers in Russia. It gives a list and characteristics of domestic manufacturers of agricultural machinery, equipment and components for them, and also considers the problems of import substitution of agricultural machinery, equipment and components for them. Data are provided on the number of agricultural machinery and equipment produced in Russia recently, as well as on the provision of agricultural machinery and equipment to Russian agricultural producers and the ratio of the number of domestic and foreign agricultural machinery and equipment in the domestic market of Russia. All existing measures of state support for domestic producers of agricultural machinery, equipment and components for them, and replacement of foreign agricultural machinery, equipment and components for them with domestic analogues are considered. Proposals are made to improve state support for agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturers in Russia.
