Abstract: The article discusses the situation in the field of activity of peasant (farmer) households (hereinafter referred to as KFH) of the Tver region. For the period 2011-2021 their number has decreased by almost 15 times. The reasons for the accelerated ruin of the peasant farm are analyzed. The possibilities of reorienting the activities of peasant farms to the production of organic agricultural products are being assessed.
